Welcome to DentalAssistingTV.........After 38 plus years in the dental field as both an assistant and an instructor, I have been sharing my knowledge and experience with students. I've found over the years, especially with advances in technology, that I could help students by creating videos that they could watch over and over. This comes in handy especially for students in expedited classes. I've created the Dental Assisting Training Video Series for the purpose of helping students learn to become effective dental assistants. Some of the techniques in the videos may be outdated due to advances in the field [ example- film vs digital xrays ] but for the most part, the concepts are relevant in today's dental practice. The actors in the videos were my actual students and consented to be filmed and the original background music was created by me using Garageband on my MacBook.
