I wanted to share with you all my updated images for Mr. Bindle. I decided to go in a different visual direction with the project which leans into a more playful minimalist style. The full explanation for this can be read on my blog here:

But for now, I just wanted to show you all the updated designs and how my style will look going forward at least for this project, but to be honest the only thing that might change is nose design but not much of anything else οΌββ½βγ

Can't believe how much I've learned since 2017 when I started my journey to become a graphic novelist.
Now I just have to distill all of that information down for y'all for the education vlogs that will start in 2025.
At least I won't run out of content any time soon hahah!
And that's just art don't get me started on writing...

Wow I just realized that we're a little over the half way mark for my first sub goal of 50 subs! Thank you all so much for watching and sticking with me as I've tried to figure out the direction and scope of the channel. Stay tuned because there's a lot of cool stuff that will be coming up for this channel especially in the new year!

ahh the duality of re-designing your work

Hey so I thought I would say this now instead of saving it for after Sept. 21. As some of you know I like to create a backlog of videos so that I don't really have to worry about "content" and can stick to a nice schedule. And speaking now on 5.17 I've to already finished all of the character designs for the first two chapters of Mr. Bindle (As you will see).
And I even played around with a short comic idea that may or may not be finished this year (Because I've started working on my next graphic novel script. Man I've been productive hahaha!)
But here's the thing if you've been following my substack posts I've been hating my designs. So about a week ago I decided I needed to change this. And I decided to redesign all of my characters in a style that I am actually happy with! Go figure hahah but because of the perceived redundancy of video and blog posts I decided not to record it.
Note that there will be a blog post on Substack and my new Website that will explain my thoughts about changing my designs, giving all of the updated images for you to look at, and how the pre-production phase will continue from that point on. That will be posted Sept. 28, 2024. And videos will resume on October 5, 2024 starting with storyboarding the first chapter of Mr. Bindle.
But until then I hope ya'll enjoy the content that I will be posting over the next few months!

Well itβs official Iβve finally finished writing my script for Mr. Bindle! My final page count is 323 pages and I have about 1,650 panels in total (; κͺΠκͺ)γ
I started this project back on Dec. 29, 2022 and now on Feb. 1, 2024 a total of 1 year, 1 month and 4 days later Iβm finished! Man thatβs wild!
Now it will be handed over to my editors for review. And while thatβs being done its time for all the pre-production fun!
