About

I have studied, recorded and lectured on urban wildlife for over 40 years. I now share my vast knowledge and expertise on how you too can attract more wildlife to your garden or local area. You will learn about a wide range of species like moths, birds, butterflies, dragonflies and bees all through tips and friendly advice.

My bio-logical records from1976 were instrumental is saving a local area from development in Bradford. The council with my help declared the site a local nature reserve in 2008.

In 2001 I turned my own garden into a wildlife haven by specialised planting including a wildflower meadow and wildlife pond which now has attracted 68 species of birds and over 401 species of moths.

Recently I have been involved in planning a wildlife area for a major local company that want to improve it's own bio-diversity and staff wellbeing.

I am now the voluntary wildlife field officer for Low Moor & Oakenshaw conservation group working along side Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.
