Welcome to the IoTa channel and to the first video in a series, in which I share my journey of setting up a domoticz home automation system.
I chose Domoticz because my lighting system , Bticino MyHome is supported out-of-the-box and it is free.
My Xiaomi sensors are supported and other hardware as well
I find Domoticz userfriendly. When configuring the software, I don’t need to fiddle around in YAML files. I can do all the configuration from the web interface.
It runs on software and hardware I know and have, namely Linux on Raspberry Pi.Welcome to the IoTa channel and to the first video in a series, in which I share my journey of setting up a domoticz home automation system.
