PAMELA ROBERTS was recognized as a national cello talent by age of 11. Principal cellist of Washington's All State Orchestra and the National Congress of Strings in Los Angeles she was awarded the top music scholarship at the University of Washington for five years in a row. Pamela received a 3-year fellowship to the Aspen Music Festival and was chosen to participate in the exclusive Cleveland Chamber Music Seminar. She became faculty cellist at the University of Puget Sound and principal cellist in the Tacoma Symphony. Soloist with the Seattle Symphony, Aspen Music Festival, Port Townsend Symphony Orchestra and Bremerton Westsound Symphony, among others. Chamber musician with the Philadelphia String Quartet, Northwest Chamber Orchestra and Seattle Early Music Guild. Principal cellist in 5th Avenue Theatre Orchestra in Seattle, and principal cellist in the Port Townsend Symphony Orchestra. Studied with Eva Heinitz, Toby Saks, Vivian King, Daniel Lynch, Robert Gardner and Alan Harris.
