For me, it was the purest and rawest form of storytelling. I have worked as a stringer for various news agencies in areas torn apart by wars and natural disasters. I always try to portray the unfiltered truth through my stories and images, even though it might upset my audience. I try to use the power of photography to open the viewers’ eyes to what is happening around them. To tell the most sincere stories, you must involve yourself and become part of the situation. Every story I cover affects me. Sometimes my heart does break, but other times my heart is filled with joy when I find stories about people's happiness.
