Hi, Lucy here. I am a teaching assistant with a passion for signing. I have been supporting students in an SEN environment since 2012. I was trained in Signalong, a sign supported communication system, which helps children and adults with learning, language and speech difficulties. I became a Signalong Signing Tutor four years ago and have since enjoyed training and sharing my skills to promote signing as a common form of communication to open up a world for those that rely on signing as their key form of communication.
I will use this channel to share resources to learn different Signalong signs in a fun way - through stories, games and songs. You'll often hear me talk about a working hand and supporting hand. Your working hand is your dominant hand - the one you write with. Your supporting hand is your other one.
