Andjela Misic is one of the leading emerging classical guitarists of her generation in Serbia and beyond. She has received international recognition after her video of Farolillo de Feria was published by Siccas Media on Paco de Lucia's birthday. Soon after, she won the Grand Prize of the audience at the 2021 Pleven International Guitar Festival.
Andjela has developed a unique approach to guitar repertoire by performing both traditional classical pieces and flamenco works of guitarists such as Paco de Lucia and Antonio Rey. She aims to discover the spiritual essence in every musical piece and project it onto the audience. Her original performances brought her many first prizes at international competitions in Serbia and surrounding countries.
Andjela is currently attending music high school in Valjevo (Serbia) under the acclaimed Serbian professor Dragan Nikolic, and she regularly attends master classes of the leading guitarists
