Jersey native, OLA as a young teenager was going viral with his wild and dynamic covers on YouTube. After amassing a following, these videos led to collaborations with studio writers Tyler Perry's House of Payne in Atlanta, GA. He split his time between New Jersey and Atlanta, to work in the studio but ultimately relocated to pursue his dreams full-time. He would later attend Clark Atlanta University and drop his debut LP VICE, and his singles became campus anthems, earning him a spot as the opening act for Lil Uzi, Ari Lennox, Karen Civil & other school events like Clark Atlantaâs homecoming concert. Since then, OLA has continued to rise, earning a Grammy as a songwriter for Lecraeâs Church Clothes 4 album and writing for artists like Summer Walker, PJ Morton, Reâ Luise, Remey Williams, and Carvena. With a track record of successful EPs and albums, OLAâs latest project, Heart Matters, is the culmination of his journey and artistry, showcasing his growth and emotional depth.
