Raised in Devon the Bristol based singer-songwriter Jamie Yost rose to popularity in the Indie Folk world with the success of his 2018 single “Runaway” reaching over 300,000 streams online. Yost’s music focuses heavily on poetic lyricism, his Folk roots and interwoven Alt-Pop melodies that bring moments of Bon Iver, Ben Howard to The War on Drugs and The 1975.
Yost has caught the eye of prestigious festivals delivering headline performances at Cambridge Folk Festivals ‘The Den’ stage, performing on the emerging Artists ‘The View Stage’ at Boardmasters and supporting the likes of Nathan Ball, Skinny Living and Ward Thomas.
Yost is set to release his third EP ‘This is home’ early 2024 with a more commercial Alt Pop sound including the recent single 'Nightmares' & 'Drifting On'.
