Teaching academic writing, or writing in general, is a curious thing. In order to write anything of substance, you must first be able to observe objectively and think critically. It is with that aim that I try to teach my students how to think, rather than what to think. I may or may not believe the views and arguments put forward here. The purpose is to instigate thought and create dialogue on topics that are or should be unavoidable when trying to get through life.
