We are a modern homesteading family living on 10 acres in the Pacific Northwest. Matt served in the Air Force for almost 32 years and as civilian law enforcement for 8 years. Brenda worked in hospitality and the retail industries for over 11 years and raised our son. We decided to live a more rewarding life by starting our homestead. We plan to build our home, raise our own food, and serve in our community.

1 Timothy 6:11 (CSB): But you, man of God, flee from these things, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance, and gentleness.
Where do we find this freedom?
Hebrews 12:1bā2 (CSB): Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, 2 keeping our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy that lay before him, he endured the cross, despising the shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.
