Hey! Gator here! Although I had tried backpacking a little as a teenager, I really started getting into it in 2013 when I took a 35 day backpacking course with the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) in Australia. That's right, 35 days of backpacking through the outback with no trails, just maps and a compass. Since then, I've been long distance hiking on my own. I am currently working on sectioning the U.S. portion of the Eastern Continental Trail and have already finished the Appalachian Trail, Pacific Crest Trail, Palmetto Trail, Bartram Trail, and Foothills Trail. I hope to one day be a triple crowner, so feel free to follow along with my adventures.
