I received a diagnosis of "Autism Spectrum Disorder" (ASD) at 42. While the diagnosis may be new, the reality is not; I've been neurodiverse my entire life. Autism isn't something you catch or a condition to be curedโit's a different way of experiencing the world, hardwired from birth.
