Calcifier Ltd.
Formed in 2014, Calcifier is an alternative pop-rock band known for blending indie, rock, and pop sounds. The band’s members—Harry Kirkmond (Lead Vocals, Guitar), Leanna Hanson (Acoustic Guitar, Vocals), Lance Rigby (Bass, Vocals), Cathie Rigby (Keyboard, Vocals), and Stig Nyrenssen (Drums, Synth)—came together as schoolmates, with ages ranging from 13 to 17. Their name comes from an inside joke that has stuck with them since the beginning.
In 2019, they released their debut album *Cooker*, featuring tracks like "Aye ya Dog," "Umbrie-Ella," and "Queen Ann," which showcased their unique sound of gritty guitar, intricate keyboard, and powerful harmonies. Known for their experimental approach, Calcifier has continued to grow their fanbase, delivering unpredictable and captivating music that defies easy categorization. Their evolving style keeps listeners hooked with every release.
