# How to grow ginger in sacks?

#Ginger cultivation time in bags:
Chaitra to Boishakh months are suitable time for ginger cultivation.
# Prepare the soil:
For ginger cultivation in bags, soil and fertilizer should be prepared 15 days before planting ginger tubers.
For each sack, clean the dust
Soil 15 kg
Rotten dung and ash 5-7 kg
TSP 20 grams
MOP (potash) 10 grams
Zinc 5 grams
Boron 5 grams
Granular insecticide 10 grams
Mix together and cover the soil.
#SEED CLEANING:
Before planting ginger tubers, Carbodazim group fungicide should be mixed at the rate of 2 grams per liter of water and one kg of ginger tubers should be cleaned. After treatment, the tubers should not be planted immediately but should be dried in the shade for at least one hour.
#Filling soil mixed with manure in sacks:
The soil mixed with manure should be filled in the bag in such a way that the upper part of the bag is 2 inches free.
#Ginger Tuber Size/Size:
40-50 grams of size jet ginger tubers are required for planting in bags once the soil is prepared.
#Ginger Tuber Planting Depth:
A tuber should be planted at a depth of 4-5 inches in sacks.
#weed:
There is no weediness in bagged ginger cultivation. If weeds are seen then the roots should be kept clean by hand weeding.
#Irrigation Application:
If there is no rain, a light sprinkling of water should be given.
#Fertilizer application:
After two months of planting seedlings, mustard bark, urea TSP, MOP fertilizers should be applied to the soil in quantity.
#Ginger extraction:
Can be picked up in the month of January-February. Ginger is ripe when the leaves turn yellow.
