Michael Monroe, āMN Acoustic Music Master,ā (Jon Bream, Star Tribune) performs his award winning music: vocals-handmade Seaton Guitars and bamboo/crystal flutes and uses LIVE looping,'technology powered by creativity'. Michael has recorded 12 original recordings, produced another 6 featuring the folk legends such as Cat Stevens, Joni Mitchell, Simon & Garfunkel, JT, Gordon Lightfoot etc. Monroeās award winning instrumental soundtracks have been featured on PBS/CBC, Toronto Enviro/New York Indie Film Fests in "Chased By The Light", and he received an Emmy for āSoaring On Mended Wings". Michael Monroe returned to the Twin Cities following his 28 years on the North Shore of Lake Superior outside Grand Marais, where he presented Log Cabin Concerts monthly in his cabin for the past 17 years which were featured on KSTPās Jason Davisā On The RoadĀ Ā and in Lake Superior and Cabin Life Magazines. He spent 11 years in Hovland living off the grid and recorded his first albums using solar power.
