Saween Gunawardhana began his music career in 2002 at the young age of 7. His first one-man show took place in 2005. By 2010, he had performed in over 100 musical shows as a young singer. After a brief hiatus from music, Saween returned in 2019 as an audio engineer, working at a top-tier commercial production house. In 2020, he released his first original song, "Ginikeli."
