The Sillertides is Doug Huggins and Linn Phipps, singing conversation songs together. The unique feature of our singing is that - through the magic of zoom – we live-sing together across the Atlantic Ocean, over a distance of 5000 miles. Every week, we live-sing our conversation songs at singarounds, based in the USA, UK and Ireland. These days, distance is no object! The first song we ever sang together is Norland Wind. And when we were seeking a name for our duo, The Wind’s line about sillertides seemed to us to fit us best.
