Many women arrive at Menopause uninformed and unaware of what it is and what to do about it. This drives a sense of loss for who they were and the control they used to have, robbing them of choice and opportunity. I know this because I was one of those women.
If you add to that, the historical societal perceptions of Menopause and Menopausal women, it can all feel as though there is no hope. Let’s be clear, this is gender bias at its worst. It is time to take control and have modern, focussed and successful Menopause conversations at work, at home and with peers.
