This channel is run by historical fiction author Ruadh Butler and will be dedicated to telling tales taken from Irish history. There will be stories taken from Ireland's mythical past, through the Viking Age and the turmoil that accompanied the arrival of the Normans, right up to the beginning of the eighteenth century. I hope to visit historical locations in Ireland in order to give viewers an idea of what they will find should they journey to the country in the future. Additionally, I'll take you through the family histories of some of the most famous dynasties, both Gaelic and Norman, and chat about the characters in my first three novels: Swordland, Lord of the Sea Castle, and The Earl Strongbow.
