Hi there! My name is Anne, I'm a mom of two beautiful babies living in my adopted home of Costa Rica. I started Nalakai because I absolutely love ring slings, but I don't like the feel of scratchy pure linen. I wanted to design a carrier that would be silky soft for newborn babies and cool enough to use in hot summer months. I also wanted to make the best quality slings, but at an affordable price. Ours are some of the lowest priced bamboo ring slings on the market!
Safety is our primary concern. I wear my baby Nala in our slings every day and I want to make sure that all babies in our slings are 100% safe. Our slings comply with all relevant safety standards, including the CPSIA 2008 and the ASTM Standards. I'm so passionate about our slings and I want to help moms all over the world bond through babywearing!
