I’ve always dreamed of living alone deep in the wild forest, far from the noise of the modern world, surrounded by nothing but untamed nature. And now, I’m living that dream with my two beloved cats, Billy and his mother Lucky.
Far north, in the heart of Finland’s untouched wilderness, we’ve made an abandoned off-grid log cabin our home.
No power grid, no neighbors, no distractions just the land, the changing seasons, and the work of our own hands.
Every day here is a new adventure a challenge, a lesson, and a step closer to Mother Nature. The cabin is old and worn, the winters are brutal, and survival is never guaranteed. But that’s exactly why we’re here. From rebuilding and expanding the cabin to adapting to the wilderness and learning to live off the land, this life is raw, demanding, and deeply fulfilling.
