The Cape Malay "JAWWAP!" is a division and a brand new project of SKYLIMIT ProjMan (PTY) Ltd "Because Little Things Matter", independently owned by a family in Cape Town, SOUTH AFRICA. A self-produced project featuring the Cape Malay, an ethnic group. The team feels that with the new generations' old vocabulary, stories around culture or traditions are slowly fading, hence its slogan âJAWWAP!" a mispronounced word usually for a call to action, to answer; to be heard, or to participate. The Founder, Fatima Galant Abrahams, self-published a book called âImam Haronâs BILALâ a recollection of her fatherâs memories, Hajji Abduraghmaan Galant, who was better known as 'Pinkie' from Claremont in the 1960s and realized a gap to raw or untold stories, in the vernacular. The efforts go to fund the family community projects, like the Pinkie's CHOW Food Drives and Madrassatu-Sobiereen in Hanover Park which makes everything even more meaningful, as a great legacy continues.
