About
The "Rockklassiker Freising" are a music project consisting of many well-known Freising musicians who organize special concerts at regular intervals and - as the name suggests - perform rock classics. Since the 80s, for example, there has been the "Altstadtfest Open Air" at Freising's Marienplatz. Under the direction of Yogi Lang (RPWL) and Martin Keeser (Freising Symphony Orchestra), the "Rock meets classical music" concerts took place for the first time in Freising's Luitpoldhalle in 2022 in collaboration with the city of Freising. Due to its great success, there will be three concerts on October 18, 19 and 20, 2024.
