I went trucking back in 1976, drove through the 1980's with a 6 year stint at Greyhound Bus Lines. I then made a switch and taught high school visual art for 26 years. Upon retiring, I went back trucking, this meant getting my updated cdl, and going through training. I chose flat bedding and went with Maverick Transportation where I had a great experience and learned a lot. After a heart attack I slowed down and made the switch to dry van and reefers at Carter Express. I left Carter for a brief period where I worked in the Safety Dept. and trained at Schneider National. Now, I'm back at Carter Express and work on the inside in the Safety Department as the Orientation Coordinator. I don't plan on leaving Carter soon, and hope you'll consider coming there to see me!
