As a Behavior Analyst, my goal is to help support individuals to change their behavior to meet their needs. I take this understanding of behavior throughout my life and apply my knowledge to all my interactions, including parenting, homeschooling, and even fostering cats. I'll be using naturalist teaching strategies to make homeschool engaging for my child. I want to show that the science of Behavior Analysis applies to all aspects of our lives.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is not just an intervention used with individuals with autism. Behavior Analysis is a science of behavior and ABA is applying that science to socially significant behavior change. This channel is designed to provide examples of how to use the principles of ABA to everyday situations.
