Day 1 - A Year Facing Fear
What would happen if you faced the things that scared you every single day for a year? Would it get easier over time? How would your life change?
How would YOU change?
That’s what I’m planning to find out. Each day, I 'll face at least one fear: the big, the small, and the ugly.
I’ll record my physiological reaction, level of fear, and the emotions that come up, before sharing my experiences and information about the science behind the very human experience of fear. Why do we fear what we fear? How does fear get embedded? And what does research tell us about how to overcome our fears?
This journey is a deeply personal one for me. Facing the things that scare you—that fear of rejection, failure, speaking up, being too old, too much, or not being enough—isn’t easy or pretty. But fear is a part of being human, and we shouldn’t feel ashamed of it or run from it.
I’m ready to look fear in the eye and do it anyway.
