I'm buzzin, just got the proofs for the Korean printing of No Life Too Small! Honestly can hardly believe my wee book is gaunnie be published in Korea, this is definitely the wild card! I wonder how awfurfuckssake translates...

And I'm greetin, cause when I think back on how hard it was tae pull this out the bag while my body, mind and life were trying their hardest tae fall apart roon aboot me, while looking after everyone here and the agony of feeling my best sheep boy's big spirit ebbing away, 22 hours a day for months, just digging deeper and deeper, word by word written on wee scraps of oat bags against fence posts in the horizontal rain as my fingers froze, the aw-nighters wi ma mammy at the other end of email keeping me going, sentence by sentence taking us closer tae the deadline, absolutely determined I wasnae gaunnie let the wee inner 5-year-auld lassie's 'when I grow up I'm gaunnie be a writer' dream get away.

So sitting there this morning in the same spot in my living room where I dragged it oot the bag and seeing this come tae life and see that folk have given the time and energy tae translate it and illustrate it so beautifully... well... just, well... :)

UK/Aus/NZ, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, now Korea, and someone has just offered a French translation if we can sell the rights there - and a sold-oot print run and a reprint of the English language one! - ma wee book, cannae quite describe this feelin'.
