There's something very special (romantic/magical/nostalgic?) the way railways traverse landscapes that's kept me enthralled for the better part of 50 years - and that's what I'm trying to capture on this channel. I'm not entirely sure what direction it will take - for now, COVID will mean that it's very much centered on railways in/around North Queensland, Australia - so expect a lot of minerals traffic, limited number of passenger trains with a dash of cane railways. I hope to head back to Europe when circumstances allow - at which point it'll probably become a Swiss/German/Italian/French affair - with a possible mix of UK & US railways thrown in for good measure (and as budget allows). So sit back, take your seat and come along for the ride.

NB: As an outsider to the industry, anything I post comes solely from what I observe or what limited information is available online. Chances are I'm wrong. so don't be goin' betting the sheep station on it!
