Wendy Phua is a Yamaha & Klotz endorsed bass player, composer and producer based in Singapore.
She has performed with acclaimed artists including James LoMenzo (Megadeth, Slash's Snakepit, White Lion), Mel Gaynor (Simple Minds), rapper Shaggy, opera chanteuse Emma Shapplin and rock guitarist Riki Hendrix.
Wendy released her solo bass EP "Between Here And Then" in 2008, and plays the Yamaha TRBJP2 John Patitucci Signature 6-string and the Yamaha BBNE-II Nathan East Signature 5-string. Her effects rig includes the Boss GT6B, Boss RC-50, Soundblox Envelope Filter, an Ashdown James LoMenzo Hyperdrive.
Apart from working on her own compositions, Wendy has two other project bands - Tessera, all female modern jazz band and Ootini!, a neo progressive-folk band in which she plays the double bass.
