Fun fact about Mount Everest:
Although Mount Everest is the tallest mountain in the world, it doesn’t grow at a constant rate. Interestingly, due to tectonic plate movements, Everest’s height increases by about 4 mm per year! However, large earthquakes, such as the one in Nepal in 2015, can cause the summit to shrink. After that earthquake, Everest decreased by about 2.5 cm.
