Plugging this one as I feel it didn't get as much traction as it could've done. This is a recreation of a theme from an old BBC series with Michael Palin as he explored different railways. Cool stuff, composed by Ian Stuart Lynn.

The reasons I make these posts to promote these videos again because since it doesn't have a Thomas character in the title or thumbnail, it tends to get heavily ignored so the best thing is persistence really.

So I would really appreciate it if many of you guys opened your horizons and gave this other stuff a try, I feel the lack of Proteus 2 or Jupiter 6 makes a lot of Thomas fans go NOPE to other music which sometimes confuses me considering how many other kids shows many of them watch that feature a lot of this old styled library music but that's what I like to call the 'Fandom Curse'.

Morning/Afternoon/Evening everyone. Uploaded some music videos for some tracks off the Tyme Machine album recently, it's about time I started producing more music videos again as they were always fun to put together.
And for those who still persist on asking about Thomas stuff, not happening any time soon. Please read my posts carefully to avoid disappointments.

I've also opened another commission slot today. Enquire with my on Discord or Twitter for further details.

Happy September everyone!

Hope all is well. I know this year has been a fairly quiet one for the channel but I think I’ve just needed a LOT of time to recharge and didn’t want to rush any personal projects to avoid ‘rushed’ compositions. I’m looking into using new sounds and levelling things up but I’ll still do the good old stuff here and there because hey, that’s still fun lol.

However, I have some news. I’m setting up an Instagram account and potentially a Tik Tok too. Here I’ll just post a lot of musical updates but probably other stuff too for a laugh. But I’ll also do my ‘How To’s’ here too, where I’ll show tips and stuff on how to compose certain pieces of music.

Maybe I’ll even open up some old Thomas files and show you guys how to construct a piece from the show. It’s easier to demonstrate than to make everything again lol.

Anyway, I’ll post the link below and would appreciate all of you guys to follow, would be cool to interact more personally. See you guys there!

Hello Again, I’ve decided I’m going to occasionally stream myself creating music. I thought it would be a good insight for those interested in the process. Can’t say when but possibly pretty soon. Keep your eyes peeled!

Greetings everyone,

After going back and forth in my head about what kind of album to do next I think I’ve finally concluded that I want to produce a full pledged City Pop album with a mix of Jazz Fusion and Yacht Rock.

Originally I was gonna try and pull another ‘Tyme Machine’ and have another album of jingles, cartoony music and stuff but I think that kind of music has become so engrained into me that I’d feel comfortable putting an album of that on the back burner while learning something new. I’ve recently been listening to a whole of old Japanese music recently to really absorb the techniques and styles of it all to help inspire to write my own and it’s crazy how many songs you find with VERY similar chord progressions but I feel we’re all guilty of that here and there.

Don’t worry, I’ll still put out random obscure tracks to keep us going when I have the time but I definitely want to experiment with more ‘mature’ sounds to expand my range, I mean I am nearly 30 so that old man brain is kicking in a bit.🙃

Onwards and Upwards,
Ty.

Hey everyone,

Shameless plug but just making a post again to promote my album Tyme Machine. A compilation of 1980's and 1990's styled Library music, with 'Taking Flight' as the leading track. This is over 10 years of work and a lot of passion was put in the project over the years.

I may write another album this year but... Burnout is real. After doing all the Thomas work alongside this, I've felt quite lethargic this year. Letting my brain recharge so I'm not just writing quick pieces that I think are 'meh' for the sake of getting them out, I absolutely love composing and putting down whatever comes in to my head but I wish I gave myself more time.

The plan is to try and be as VERSATILE as possible so whatever gets thrown my way doesn't seem too much of a challenge. This album is probably the first real showcase of my versatility and there will be more to come but I think I'll do one more mixed album like this and then try some E.Ps with a more solid formula just to tighten up knowledge on specific genres and arrangement styles.

Anyway, I really hope more of you guys check this stuff out. If you're into zany cartoon themes, video game music, catchy jingles, city pop, synthwave and yes even our old friend Thomas has a couple influences in here then I'm sure this is THE album for you.

Peace out.
Ty.

Hello all.

Now I know I said the Thomas Themes have stopped, which they pretty much have but I did say there was a handful of things I was going to do in the future (from the time I posted that). The remaining S2 cues are coming very soon, probably within the next few weeks but there I is one I will upload tonight mainly because I like THIS specific mix of it.

In other news, I'm still mainly doing my other stuff and dedicating a lot of my time to the IOS which is well under way. I've been taking a break from producing as much as I think last year took a lot out of me but I still throw down an idea when I have it. Anyway, expect more stuff in May.

Peace.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the 12 awesome people (some who I know) that have purchased my album: Tyme Machine from Bandcamp. I genuinely feel honoured that people have wanted to purchase my original work. The crazy thing with that album is that, with it being 10 years of work you can feel the transition from the styles of the earlier tracks into more what I have done recently and where certain instruments really started to become more prominent (cough* U20 Guitar*cough).

I want to write another album this year but still I want to stick to a primary theme/genre this time round just to try that out really, maybe a VG music album, a City Pop album or more library music. Definitely want to up the production game this year as I felt Tyme Machine is a stealthy showcase of the more ‘kiddy’ stuff to a set degree and really want to explore more genres.

Working on commissions at the moment but I plan to put out some more originals if I have the time this month, I think maybe monthly check ins to update everyone with plans is a good idea.

Anyway, for those who haven’t checked out Tyme Machine, I’ll post the links for it below.

Ty out.

Attention Everyone!

I said a few weeks back that there would be a new channel for IOS related stuff and all that. So we’ve now opened a new channel called: The IOS Project. Nothing has been done to it yet (logos, trailers, streams) but I thought I’d bring attention to it. There’ll be one more stream on my channel at some point where I’ll link and promote to get as many as you guys there so we can get the ball rolling.

I’ll post the link at the bottom, here will be livestreams here and there from Jake and I when we have the time. I’ll still stream in my server of course. Also, trailers and showcases of new areas and stuff with music composed by myself and others. Hope to see you guys there!
