My name is Amanda and I have been knitting on and off since I was 8 years old but only seriously when I had my babies. While other new mums were going straight down to Mothercare, I was in my local yarn shop, looking at the beautiful babies on the front of patterns. In 2013 I opened my own yarn, haberdashery and craft shop. Sadly I closed my shop in 2019 because I was finding it too hard to juggle family and home, with working full time. Now I am a stay at home mum and nutty knitter. I still run the local Knit and Natter, that way I get to see the many friends I made while running my shop. I also have my online shop which is still an ongoing project.
The one thing that I took from my time in my shop was that I love teaching people knitting and crochet. Over the six and half years in my shop I made it my mission to learn everything I possible could about knitting and crochet.....all the little things that make your knitting and crochet perfect. Now I can share them with you xx
