From 2026, Class 10 students will be able to take the CBSE board exams twice in one academic year. However, it will be mandatory for them to appear in the first phase, which will be held in February.
CBSE Examination Controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said the results of the first exam will be announced in April, and those of the second in June.
Students can try to improve marks in up to three subjects, science, maths, social science, and languages
