Welcome to my fishing channel! My names Zach Costas and I’d like to share my outdoor adventures with you. I fish the coasts of Wilmington, Topsail Island and Carolina Beach North Carolina, in addition to freshwater impoundments of the Piedmont and central NC. I fish for a wide variety of species in these areas. Fishing has always been an important part of my life.
The name of my channel is Catch Count Costas for a reason. The only way to increase your catch count on your fishing outings is to make each and every trip a learning experience. When you successfully catch your target fish species, make that catch count by considering: tide stages, weather patterns, seasonal changes, fishing structure, water depth transition-and much more. These are topics I'd like to explore with you.
