On Friday, my daughter and I are flying to Venice, Italy for a week where I’ll be attending a sketch traveling workshop. Pinch me! My background is in illustration and although I’ve pivoted in the past years to crochet, the love of drawing is still there. I am bringing my crochet hook just in case I find a yarn shop but really this trip is devoted to drawing.
I’ll be sure to share all about it when I return.
I do have a video planned to post on Sunday. It’s a replay of one I’ve posted before , but I fixed the sound on it and wanted to repost.

Look at this gorgeous granny hexagon cardigan by “Hooked by Mama CE” @hookedbymamace
She used the “modern granny stitch /block stitch”. I had a few commenters asking if this stitch could be used to make this style cardigan and this shows that you absolutely can. Beautiful 🤩

Can someone please recommend a yarn winder that you like? I was happily using an inexpensive one from Michaels and it broke after several years of use. It looks like they don't make it anymore. Out of stock online and in stores.
I don't need anything fancy, just functional. thanks in advance.
