in the future - u will be able to do some more stuff here,,,!! like pat catgirl- i mean um yeah... for now u can only see others's posts :c
PSA: You will be noticing a lot (like, a LOT) of long-form ancient history content up here over the next month.
'Tara Tine's Ancient Landscapes', a six-part radio documentary series (the culmination of two years' work by myself and Dave) will be broadcast over the course of the next three weekends (beginning 27th July) on Dundalk FM and uploaded here afterwards. It will be a real treat for fans of ancient Irish history (and a bit of a clog on the homepage of people who are here for the renovation content - apologies!).
Two episodes will be broadcast back-to-back each weekend (Sat 9am GMT, repeated Sun 5pm GMT) and uploaded here over the proceeding week. There will also be accompanying bonus full-length interviews with the experts and amateurs featured in the series.
So that's about four videos per week you'll be seeing here (even though the documentary episodes themselves do not have actual videos, just audio).
Watch out also for the theme tune which I wrote and played on, along with my favourite session musician, Dave 😊

Dave doing some last minute edits on my forthcoming radio documentary series, entitled 'Ancient Landscapes'.
This month marks the culmination of two years' work on the series, and although there are already minor changes I would like to make in the first few episodes I wrote, time is up and it's time to call it 😅
It's also a bit of a culmination of so much of what I've learned since starting this channel, and despite the little flaws, I'm pretty proud of it.
And between recording and peforming on the original theme tune I wrote and performed for it, and the challenge of making audio from windy hillsides and zoom interviews sound smooth and professional, Dave is playing a blinder also.
I'm really excited to share this with you, once it has been broadcast on local radio, and there will be a series of 5-minute teasers played in the week running up to each broadcast, for anyone who wants to listen live online.
Hope to be back soon with a video!
Le meas,
TT

It's about 5 years since I released this tune from my EP. It's probably my fave tune that I've written, real summery vibes for a summery day.
Working hard on work stuff that isn't vlogable the past while, and fighting the constant temptation to blow it all off for a bit and disappear into the recording studio (it must be an April thing)!
Will be back as soon as anything happens that's remotely suitable for a YouTube video, or when I have the time to sit down and research one 😬😅

For anyone wanting to learn more Irish history today - a fairly good explainer of the Magdalene Laundries.
It's still a massive and recent trauma, a very difficult subject to broach, so it helps to have outsiders putting words on it too.
Y'know, whilst we're venerating saints and all....
