The first African owned music label in Australia, 66 Records is the most authentic and unique voice of hip hop in Australia. Running with their guiding principle of ‘If it’s real, it’s real’, the young label has sprinted the length of a marathon, and still hasn’t cracked a sweat. Founded by friends John and Avon in 2018 from a housing commission basement studio in Collingwood, Melbourne, 66 Records has since signed virally hot new talent including Eco$ystem, Lil Jaye, BBG Smokey, Baby T, Babyface Mal and Manuxella .
