Kennedy Kyle received her calling to sing at the age of 6. Being fortunate enough to inherit not only her father's love for music, but talent as well, she knew early on what her passion in life would be. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, but Morristown raised, she began to diligently work on her craft by singing in school choirs and musical productions. Kennedy attended the University of Tennessee, where she further cultivated her vocal skills by being a leading vocalist in her university’s acapella group. She graduated in 2016 with a degree in Communication Studies, and shortly thereafter, received her MBA in 2018. Kennedy then moved to Atlanta, Georgia in May 2019 where she began to lay the foundation for her music career by landing a coveted internship with the music label LVRN. Her first EP was released on her 26th birthday, December 5th, 2019. This project garnered over 50,000 streams in its first month.
