Pati Palmer has been teaching fashion sewing for 37 years and designing sewing patterns for McCalls for over 30 years. After being an educator for the Armo interfacing company, a department store buyer, she conducted sewing seminars throughout North America and Australia for 15 years. During which she established the Palmer/Pletsch International Sewing School in Portland, OR, where she now trains consumers and sewing educators on how to sew clothes.
Pati is the author of 10 sewing books, publisher of 20 more books, 11 how-to videos DVD, and creator of eight Palmer/Pletsch sewing notion products. From 1980 to the present Pati has designed and written instructions for more than 220 fashion sewing patterns for The McCall Pattern Company.
