When asked why he decided to name his new podcast Super Honky, Dennis Sanders aka Mista 808 explains.

"Because I've spent the last 20 years as a nerdy white male making music within the rap industry and I caught a ton of hate for it throughout the years. I've had so many people treat me like I had no business making rap music as a nerdy white guy from Sacramento, California. It used to piss me off! I felt like I had so much to prove and that I had to go ALL OUT in order to gain any respect from other rappers/musicians. Rather than get mad about the disrespect, I used it as fuel for a very long time to keep dropping hits! After awhile, I started to embrace the hate I was receiving! I used to get called all sorts of stupid names. Cracker, White Boy, Master Race, Honky, SS, just to name a few. I finally decided if I were ever going to succeed in life, I would be better off embracing who I am, rather than to run away from it. That's how the Super Honky was born!
