Bought the first Camera (Bell & Howell) in 1962. Used Kodak 8mm film (actually 25' of 16mm film that Kodak cut in half when they processed it {prepaid} and mailed it back to you on a plastic 3.25 min reel) It was a wind up spring loaded camera & you had to find a dark place to turn over the metal 25' reel to film the other 25'. Cumbersome to say the least, but it did capture the first 9 or 10 years of our family life in Cleve & Cinti. Ohio and the Boca Raton Adventure too. Got the next evolution of Kodak film processing which was a 50' 8mm cartridge that loaded into a poor quality Canon Camera and equally poor Rolei Camera. Film and processing Cost was about $8 to $10 for silent 50 ft.! Kodak had a monopoly, product testing was poor.
