Chantelle Marquez initially gained BBC Radio 1 recognition for her debut single 'Pint In London' and is most known for writing gritty pop.
Her influences vary from Indie, 60's Soul, American Hip-Hop and multiple decades of pop. Chantelle is a raw and rebellious songwriter, fuelled by her troubled past. After leaving the care system she went on to live a dangerous life in the underworld of London, but then turned to music as a way out.
She now lives in Leicester and makes her music in Nottingham with Nick Stez. She has been compared to the likes of Lily Allen & The Streets.
Chantelle is still in the first two years of writing and recording music and has an exciting future ahead.
