Nancy Pfaff offers the ancient practice of Spiritual Direction and the teachings of Centering Prayer. Spiritual Direction, through holy listening, provides a kind of alchemical container out of which the True Self of the Directee can emerge. Centering Prayer is a meditation practice which leads to a whole new system of perceptivity from which one can see from wholeness. It is faithful to the heart of the Christian tradition, yet transcends it.
Nancy has experienced the cycle of conflict-defeat-lamentation-rebirth many times, and has lost her faith and regained it various times. She is a semi-monastic woman who lives a contemplative life connected to the Carmelite Monastery in Reno, Nevada.
Nancy has an M.A. in Christian Spirituality and has been an adherent of C. G. Jung for over twenty years. She is a certified Spiritual Director through Creighton University and has offered Spiritual Direction for over thirty years.
