For the past decade and a half, Michael has been one of the most successful songwriter/producers in contemporary jazz. With over 40 CD's to his credit, his signature sound has produced over 65 top 25 Contemporary Jazz hits (including 35 top 5s and 24 #1s), 5 billboard top 10s for sales, and a 2007 Grammy for legendary guitarist George Benson, winning best pop instrumental.
A prolific pianist, Michael's 2023 release of his album Never too Late featured 3 Billboard #1 singles, The Way She Moves, Talk to Me, and Let it Breathe, which spent 4 weeks at #1, plus Summer In Blue, which hit #2. His latest single, Happy Hour, released on August 23rd on his new label B-Hive Records, also hit #1.
