This channel is a dedication to my Guru Vidushi Shobha Gurtu, the Queen of Thumri & Dadra.
Professionally a CA, I have turned to Singing and Performing - working with Thumri, Dadra, Ghazals, Qawwali and other forms of Indian Semi-Classical Music.
We decided to create this Channel simply to revive and popularise these forms of Indian Art Music so that our viewers can take up the baton and pass this legacy to the generations to come.
Indian Music is spiritual music, the music of joy, the music which satisfies the spirit. Our music is deeply rooted in the rich traditions which have kept us a balanced society.
