My fascination with wildlife of all kinds spurred me to become a professional biologist (University of Missouri for 44 years). My research on sound communication in frogs and took place around the world, where I also captured images and sounds of animals and diverse environments. I continue this activity and also strive to tell stories about people studying and enjoying wildlife and working to conserve our natural world. My first documentary - Eagle Bluffs: Environmental and Political Success Story - illustrates this theme and was shown numerous times on a regional PBS TV station. It highlights how people with very different positions came to work together to create a marvelous conservation area.
