Years ago I decided to go along to an Open Mic night with some friends to enjoy some Live Music. After popping to the gents, I came back to our table to find my name being called out on the PA system. "Up next we have Nick Pap!!". I thought it was a joke until I realise my friend put my name down to be next on stage while I was away. See, at this points the only experience I had of singing in a public place was a few shows back at school. Sitting in a bar full of people now looking at me expecting me to get on stage at a moments noticed was my worst nightmare. It goes without saying that I absolutely, 100% did NOT get up on stage that evening. It was however something I had always wanted to do but now I felt like I had let myself down. The only solution I could think of to make myself feel better? Go back the following week and give it a go. and so the story begins...
