The Chorale is a 100-voice mixed chorus that performs in the shadow of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C. Under the baton of Frederick Binkholder, Artistic Director, the Chorale performs a wide range of a cappella and accompanied music, including works from the classic choral literature, commissioned works, and folk, jazz, and popular-song literature. The Chorale also works actively with its composer-in-residence, Kevin Siegfried.
CHC presents three concerts annually—in December, March, and June—at churches around Capitol Hill. The Chorale also strives to be an active member of the Capitol Hill community by participating and performing in local events and festivities.
